Tenancy Support
SeAscape has a team of Support Workers providing a support service tailored to the needs of each individual tenant. This assists in the prevention of repeat homelessness by helping to stabilise the tenancy and the relationship with the landlord. After initial assessment the amount of support given to each client can be altered as required.
Tenancy support workers can offer assistance in a number of areas including:
- Assistance with benefit claim forms
- Advice on budgeting and banking
- Assistance with minor repairs
- Registration with doctor, dentist, schools.. etc.
- Help with shopping
- Contact with landlord
The availability of our support service encourages landlords to work with SeAscape. When their tenants accept our support the landlord knows that applications for benefits are dealt with promptly and that any delay in the payment of benefit is checked on regularly.
