Volunteering

SeAscape Staff are helped by a team of volunteers who donate their time and skills for a few hours per week in one or more of the following ways.

  • Interviewing people who have applied to us for a rent deposit guarantee
  • Keeping in touch with clients while they are looking for a suitable property
  • Helping with general administration
  • Organising fundraising activities
  • Providing a Befriending Service for our clients – see Befriending
  • Becoming a member of our Board of Directors – see Board Members

All of these volunteering opportunities require good communication and organisational skills. All volunteers are also Disclosure checked as our client group includes vulnerable adults. Full training is provided in all of the roles. All of this work, with the exception of Befriending, is carried out within our office premises.
