Margaret McDowall is the SeAscape CEO and manages the organisation. Margaret also works directly on the rent deposit scheme together with our Rent Deposit Administration Assistant, Julie Fairbairn. The rent deposit scheme also benefits from the services of a hard working team of volunteer interviewers.
Jackie Alexander is our Administration and Compliance Manager handling much of the background facts and figures for the organisation and helped by our Financial Administator Billy Boyle who processes our accounts, invoices etc. All referrals to SeAscape go to Jackie who then makes sure they are dealt with as quickly as possible. For Housing Support Referrals our two Assessment Workers, Jim Houston and Andy McKay are the next stage in the process – arranging to meet with service users to identify what help they need.
John Sermanni is Manager of our Homelessness and Housing Support Team – ably assisted by George MacPhail, Senior Support Worker and also main contact for our 2Share flatsharing scheme and Catherine Brotherston, Support Team Leader.
Sheena Stewart, Elizabeth Smillie, Margaret Scott, Emma McGarva, Tom Tait, Marie Ure, Kirsty McClure, Fallon Heggie, Jim Montgomery, Karen McKinlay, Jim Houston, Selma Stockey, Catherine Brotherston (support team leader), Louise Currie, Shirley Holland, Lesley McGilvary, Charlene Brotherston, Lesley Ann McBeath and Sam Quinn are all well quallified and hard working members of the support team.
As well as being Support Workers, Jim Montgomery and Selma Stockey share our Befriending Co-ordinator role working with a team of volunteer befrienders and our new group befriending sessions held at the Salvation Army Cafe, Ayr Community Church, John Street, Ayr on a Thursday morning.
Rick Bamford is our Landlord Liaison Officer who finds properties for clients and also arranges viewings, checks on the safety and other necessary requirements for each property and liaises with landlords.
